Sherwin Jones began his career in 1986 at Vidal Sassoon salon in Chicago where he specialized in color. He excelled as a specialist and after a few years took on the role of Head Colorist in Sassoon’s downtown New York salon. There he educated and produced talented colorists to the industry.

With his diverse clientele continuing to grow, Sherwin partnered with two other artists and opened AREA, a salon in Union Square, providing services for benefits, fashion shows, and photo-shoots. After ten years of success, Sherwin and his partners decided to close AREA. He continued to work in the Flat Iron district until he joined MUZE Salon where he now contributes his warm and welcoming vibes, and continues to offer his gift of color.
